I spent years trying to track down there stuff on CD having had vinyl and tape from the late 80s. You can get it on spotify now - kids don;t know how easy they've got it. It is pretty cool, but I don't know if I'd call it my favorite. I'm not sure which version is. But I do like the structure best - and oddly, that is just about the exact structure I've been playing for years in my renditions of the song.Pattihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17295562938792511228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8666659962343175645.post-13552141130516407072010-12-02T18:44:28.148+01:002010-12-02T18:44:28.148+01:00as we all know the last stanza of the song tears v...as we all know the last stanza of the song tears ver1 at tears ver2 is different in the tears ver3 both stanza is included means longer song...r0m3rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13843792539286775453noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8666659962343175645.post-79180931820302064822010-12-01T03:04:38.528+01:002010-12-01T03:04:38.528+01:00@r0m3r,

I have to say, the proposed artwork for the anniversary edition of Script of the Bridge does not impress me compared to the awesome original.

I'm surprised to find I didn't even mention What Does Anything Mean? Basically in my review - that album is really great too, and I like it almost as much as this one.

As I side-note, I realized the bit of a song at the end of "I'll Remember" is from "Soul in Isolation", which does fade out, so it is possible it could be edited from the same take. If you listen to the lead guitar in that bit, you can tell it's definitely the same song.Pattihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17295562938792511228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8666659962343175645.post-5659527884713835622008-01-27T18:46:00.000+01:002008-01-27T18:46:00.000+01:00One bit of trivia that you didn't mention is that ...One bit of trivia that you didn't mention is that most of the Chameleons' album covers were drawn by their guitarist, Reg Smithies. I also find that they tend to reflect the music.

And maybe it's just, as you put it, "that charm of being the first thing I heard by them", but my favorite is "What Does Anything Mean? Basically", which you don't mention in your review.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
